Formal shoes look sharp, but a full day in them can be hard on your feet. Thin, stiff linings trap sweat and pass every hard step straight to your heel. Impressole started with a simple idea: put a layer of real leather back inside the shoe.

Why leather

Leather has lined good shoes for generations because it works. It breathes, it takes up everyday moisture, and it gives a soft, cushioning layer under the foot that settles to your shape as you wear it. Our insoles are cut from pure leather, not foam or synthetic leatherette.

How a pair is made

Each insole is cut, shaped and finished by hand in Pune, then checked as a pair before packing. We make them in UK sizes 6 to 10, one pair to a pack, so you can buy exactly the size you wear.

Three colours

• Majestic Black: best with black oxfords, derbies and loafers.
• Vintage Brown: best with tan and brown brogues, monks and boots.
• Aqua Green: best with a quiet flash of colour inside any formal pair.
